These photos are from a recent trip to California. I have always loved succulents and they are everywhere in Cali as there is little rain -which is exactly what succulents love. 

Succulents are a great subject to paint!

Clay mermaids

These are my newest creations using clay and kill fired. 

These mermaids hold flowers or tiny air plants!

 This one is my favorite she is holding a book,

 but it is also a n air plant holder!

Recently I have been able to work with Clay at the Chatham Creative Arts Center. I am creating jewelry and a Frida sculpture.
